 RUSSELL ON THE ROAD TO TOWN RECOGNITION
                                        
 Stroud most famous cricketing son,     
 England star Jack Russell, could have a
 road named after him in the town.      
                                        
 Plans are being considered to change   
 Russell Street - named after the town's
 19th Century Whig MP Earl Russell - to 
 Jack Russell Street.                   
                                        
 Jack's business agent Jim Sutton said  
 the Gloucestershire 'kjepjr would bj   
 very proud and greatly touched.
