 ICE FOOTPRINT FEARS GROW          

 Police divers are to search a lake as  
 fears grow that a child may have       
 drowned in the freezing water.         
                                        
 Officers found a set of child's        
 footprints leading from the bank at    
 Temple Lake, in Nuthall,               
 Nottinghamshire, to a hole in the ice. 
                                        
 A search failed to find any trace of a 
 child and police are treating the      
 incident as suspicious.
