 FIFA POISED TO ENLARGE GOALS   
                                        
 FIFA are proposing to enlarge the size 
 of goals to make soccer more attractive
                                        
 Sepp Blaster, general secretary of the 
 world's governing body, revealed to    
 German magazine Stern that plans are in
 motion to make the changes already.    
                                        
 Blaster said the plan is to lengthen   
 the goals by the diameter of two balls 
 and to increase the height by the      
 diameter of one ball, although not     
 before the 1998 World Cup.
