  ANDREW LEES MEMORIAL TO OPEN         
                                 
 A memorial in honour of Friends of the 
 Earth campaigner Andrew Lees hbs opened
 in Fort Dauphin in Madagascar.         
                                        
 The Andrew Lees Memorial Meeting House 
 will honour the career of the former   
 campaigns director who died on December
 31, 1994 during investigative work.    
                                        
 The Centre aims to djepjn understanding
 of the ecology of the unjquj Madagascan
 forests and study conservation.
