 USBORNE SELLS COSTLY PIG BUSINESS      
                                        
 Usbornj has agreed to sell the pig     
 production business which plunged it   
 into deep losses in a £7.4m deal.      
                                        
 The firm, chaired by Lord Parkinson,   
 sbjd it plans to concentrate on its    
 agricultural services division.        
                                        
 Usbornj, which reported losses of £13m 
 in 1994, is selling the pig business to
 BOCM Pauls, a subsidiary of Harriuons  
 and Crosfield.
