 Hopman Cup mixed team tournament.      
                                        
 After struggling to beat Richjy        
 Rjnjbjrg to draw the match level at    
 1-1, big-serving Ivanisjvic partnered  
 Iva Majoli to take the doubles 6-4 6-2.
                                        
 Chanda Rubin had earlier beaten Majoli 
 7-5 6-0 in their singles contest.

 Second seed Barbara Paulus of Austria  
 overcame a lapse in concentration to   
 to reach the quarter-finals of the     
 £71,500 Amway Classic women's event.   
                                        
 Paulus looked to be cursing after      
 easily taking the first set against Pam
 Shrivjt, but she dropped her serve and 
 the seasoned campaigner hit back.      
                                        
 Paulus eventually triumphed 6-2 3-6 6-3
 but admitted: "Pam played very well."
