 DEPARDIEU OPENS HARRODS SALE    

 French actor Gerard Depardieu set the  
 tills ringing at Harrods by launching  
 the top store's January sale.          
                                        
 About 200 shoppers were outside the    
 Knightsbridgj store before 9am, but by 
 close of business around 200,000 people
 will have parted with £7m.             
                                        
 Over the first four days £25m is       
 expected to pass through the tills,    
 peaking on Saturday at a projected £12m
