 MAN ACCUSED OF WOMAN'S MURDER     
                                 
 A man has appeared in court accused of 
 the murder of a teenager found dead at 
 her home on New Year's Day.            
                                        
 Lorraine Carter, 19, was found         
 strangled in a bedroom at the home she 
 shared with another girl in Portland   
 Street, Nottingham.                    
                                        
 Glen Lindley, 40, of Colliery Close,   
 Nottingham, was remanded in custody to 
 Lincoln Prison until January 10.
