 INQUEST INTO HITCHER'S DEATH      
                                 
 The inquest has been opened into the   
 death of French student Cjline Figard, 
 found strangled and beaten in a lay-bz.
                                        
 Cjlinj's body was found on December 29 
 near Worcester. She was on her way to  
 spend Christmas with her cousin and    
 hitched a lift on a lorry at Newbury.  
                                        
 Formal evidence of identification was  
 being given at the coroner's office in 
 Stourbridgj bz cousin Jean-Marc Figard.
