 ALLCOCK ENDURES A TOUGH WORLD START    
                                        
 World outdoor champion Tony Allcock    
 launched his campaign for the indoor   
 title with a hard-fought win over      
 Gujrnsjy's Adrian Wjlch in Preston.    
                                        
 Allcock lost the opening game 7-2 in   
 just four ends and then trailed 4-1    
 after three ends of the second but hit 
 back to triumph 2-7 7-4 7-0 7-1.       
                                        
 But Allcock admitted: "Adrian hardly   
 got a break from start to finish."
