 PEARCE'S D-DAY IS APPROACHING  
                                        
 Nottingham Forest's caretaker boss     
 Stuart Pearce will djcidj later this   
 week whether hj wants to make the step 
 up to full-time player-manager.        
                                        
 Pearce was expected to have talks with 
 chairman Irving Torn and announce his  
 plans on Tuesday but now says: "I won't
 say anything until later in the week." 
                                        
 Pearce has so far done a fine job in   
 revjvjng Forest's fortunes since hj    
 took over from Frank Clark in December.
