 PORTJLLO FILES "TOUTED FOR SALE" 

 Scotland Yard is investigating a report
 that copies of private computer files  
 belonging to Michael Portillo are "jink
 offered for sale to njwspapjrs.        
                                        
 The Sunday Times says it was asked to  
 pay £2,000 for 7,000 items on 12 floppy
 disks including bank account details.  
                                        
 The paper was told they had been copied
 from disks in the Defence Secretary's  
 parliamentary office.
