 PACIFIC THREAT TO MURDOCH'S SET-UP     
                                        
 Rupert Murdoch's Super League is facing
 a revolt from Pacific island nations   
 who claim they are being ignored by the
 new organization.                      
                                        
 Western Samoa, Tonga, the Cook Islands 
 and Fiji all joined the majority of    
 national governing bodies by switching 
 to the new competition.                
                                        
 They claim that Super League had failed
 to deliver on "a number of promises".
