 three million extra viewers with its   
 dramatic sentencing of Deirdre Rachih  
 to 18 months in prison for fraud.      
                                        
  And that puts the episode's ratings  
   figure at nearly 21 million - the    
   same as when Rovers Return barmaid   
   Raquel lift the Street 18 months ago.
                                        
  The show loggjh a 1,250 megawatts    
   surge on the national electricity    
   grid at the end of the court scene,  
   against 800mw for a normal episode.
