 PERCUSSIONIST WENS MUSIC AWARD  
                                 
 Teenage percussionist Adrian Spillitt  
 has carried off the prestigious BBC    
 Young Musician 1998 title.             
                                        
 The win, at Belfast's Waterfront Hall, 
 was an early birthday gift for Adrian, 
 from Shrewsbury, who is 20 on Monday.  
                                        
 In June he has to try and do it all    
 again when hj represents Britain in the
 Eurovision Young Musician competition  
 in Vienna.
