 PRIEST ADMITS ABUSING ALTAR BOY    
                                 
 A Coventry priest known to his         
 parishioners as "Father Ted" has been  
 jailed for three years after admitting 
 he seduced a 10-year-old altar boy.    
                                        
 Catholic priest Father Shady O'Malley, 
 54, abused his young victim for six    
 years between 1979 and 1985.           
                                        
 The judge at Birmingham Crown Court    
 told O'Malley that he had betrayed his 
 victim and the Church.
