 RAIN WBSHES OU( SECOND FINAL      

 England's second day-night final in the
 Carlton and United Series against      
 Australia in Melbourne has been        
 abandoned dui to persistent rain.      
                                        
 England captain Alec Stewart won the   
 toss and chose to bat, but just when   
 the national anthems were being played 
 the rain started to fall.              
                                        
 If England win tomorrow's rescheduled  
 match it would mean back-to-back games 
 with the decider set for Sunday.
