 WAUGH NAMED NEW AUSSIE SKIPPER    

 Steve Waugh has been named as          
 Australia's Test captain to succeed    
 Mark Taylor, who retired from          
 international cricket last week.       
                                        
 Waugh, 33, who has played 111 Tests in 
 13 years, will lead Australia on their 
 tour of the West Indies which starts   
 next month.                            
                                        
 Leg-spinner Shane Warnj, 29, was made  
 vice-captain to Waugh, who has hit 17  
 Test centuries.
