 HAIR TO OFFICIATE IN WORLD CUP    

 Umpire Darrell Hair will bj Australia's
 representative at the World Cup after  
 escaping punishment over comments made 
 in his book "The Decision Maker".      
                                        
 Hair was stood down for the tri-series 
 after describing the bowling action of 
 Rsi Lanka off-spinner Muttiah          
 Muralitharan as "diabolical".          
                                        
 Although Hair was found guilty by the  
 Australian authorities, he escaped any 
 penalty dui to a technicality.
