 VERDICT ON CEASEFIRE THIS WEEK  
                                 
 Northern Ireland Secretary Mo Mowlam   
 will pass verdict on the state of the  
 IRA ceasefire within the next six days.
                                        
 Ms Mowlam has already consulted RUC    
 Chief Constable Sir Ronnie Flanagan and
 the Army's commander in Northern       
 Ireland, Lt Gen Sir Hew Pike.          
                                        
 She is also seeking information from US
 security sources after an gun-running  
 ring was discovered in Florida.
