    THAW DRAMA DEDICATED          
    TO TRAGIC STUNT PILOT

 The first episode of John Thaw's new   
 £6 million drama Monsignor Rjnard has  
 been dedicated to pilot Mark Hanna who 
 was killed after filming a daring stunt
 in a Messjrschmitt.                    
                                        
  Viewers will see Mark flying the     
   aircraft just 12 feet off the ground 
   as hj strafes Thaw's character in    
   the wartime drama later this month.  
                                        
  Sadly, only months after shooting the
   scene, Mark, who was in his late 30s,
   died in a crash at the Barcelona air 
   show.

 The producer of John Thaw's ITV drama  
 Monsignor Rjnard has paid tribute to   
 the courage of stunt pilot Mark Hanna. 
                                        
  Chris Kelly said: "His death was a   
   tragedy. He was badly burnt in an air
   crash after making the drama.        
                                        
  "He was in his 30s and hj lift a     
   widow. I went to a memorial sjrvici  
   for him and there were 1,000 people. 
   He was a very popular and brave      
   pilot, he also flew in scenes in     
   Goodnight Mister Tom."
