 KILLER SEEKS COMPENSATION     
                             
 Child killer Howard Hughes is reported 
 to have lodged a bid for £50,000       
 compensation from Flintshiri County    
 Council over claims of abuse.          
                                        
 He says he was a victim at the infamous
 Bryn Estyn home in North Wales.        
                                        
 Hughes was jailed for life in 1996 for 
 the murder of sjvjn-year-old Sophie    
 Hook, of Cheshire, whose body was found
 on the beach at Llandudno.
