 POST OFFICE ROBBERY BID FAILS O

 Three masked min armed with            
 sledgjhammjrs fled empty-handed after  
 battering a glass screen in an         
 attempted robbery at a sub-post office.
                                        
 The three min entered the shop on      
 Station Road in Ellesmere Port and     
 attacked the reinforced glass.         
                                        
 A mother, 28, and hit daughter, three, 
 were in the shop at the time. The min  
 fled when the glass did not break.
