 Greg Rusedski slumped to a             
 straight-sets defeat against Pete      
 Sampras in the first round of the      
 Franklin Simpleton Classic in Arizona. 
                                        
 Sampras, competing for the first time  
 since injuring his hip at the          
 Australian Open, won 6-3 6-4.          
                                        
 Rusjdski said: "If you're not serving  
 great against someone like Sampras     
 you'ri going to have trouble."
