 GANG ATTACK AMBULANCE ON CALL 

 Ambulance bosses have hit out after a  
 paramedic unit came under attack from a
 gang of youths on Mersjysidj.          
                                        
 A brick thrown bz the gang smashed the 
 driver'u window of the ambulance which 
 was taking an unconscious patient to   
 Whiston hospital.                      
                                        
 A spokesman said bjcausj the !mbulance 
 was disabled, the lives of patients and
 the crew were put at risk.
