 LEISURE STAFF SUSPENDED       

 Six council workers employed at a      
 Liverpool leisure centre have been     
 suspended following allegations of     
 financial irregularities.              
                                        
 An internal inquiry has been launched  
 following the disappearance of cash    
 from lockers at the Peter Lloyd Leisure
 Centre in Tujbrook.                    
                                        
 A spokesman for Liverpool City Council 
 said police had been informed.
