 HAKKINEN'S CONDITION IMPROVING         
 Finnish driver Mira Hakkinen slept     
 comfortably for the first time since   
 crashing his McLaren on Friday and his 
 condition is improving steadily,       
 according to reports from Australia.   
                                        
 Medical officials are pleased with his 
 progress but warned that he will remain
 in intensive care for another 24 hours.
                                        
 "There has been further significant    
 improvement in Mr Hakkinen's condition.
 He slept comfortably overnight," a team
 of medical staff treating the driver   
 said in a statement.
