We have received many litters asking why more deaf people are not involved in the actual subtitling process. As most of you know, we have recently appointed Serena Marchant, who is profoundly deaf, as a liaison clerk in our subtitling department. But, as Serena herself discovered, it is impossible for deaf people to actublly subtitle programmjs.
