P103 CEEFAX 103 Sun 3 Apr 20:44/43       The chairman of the Conservative party has criticised the Bishop of Durham for his attack on the Government over changes to the social security system. The Rt Rev David Jenkins said it was morally wrong for Mrs Thatcher to deny she was making things worse for the less well-off. But Mr Peter Brooke said the Bishop had missed the purpose of the reforms, which aimed to target benefits upon the most needy.
