 The Pope has addressed thousands of    
 people in St Peter's Square in Rome    
 and given his Easter message.          
                                        
 He urged prayers for all countries     
 where there is neither peace nor       
 justice.                               
                                        
 The Mass was celebrated inside because 
 of bad weather; among the congregation 
 was the US Secretary of State, Mr      
 George Shultz.                         
                                        
 A BBC correspondent said the Pope's    
 message was, unusually, strictly       
 pastoral this year, devoting it to the
