  BIRMINGHAM SIX INQUIRY:   
  FOUR FACE TRIAL           
                                        
 Four former West Midlands detectives   
 who investigated the Birmingham pub    
 bombs are to face trial for conspiracy 
 to pervert the course of justice.      
                                        
 They will also face charges of perjury,
 Crown Prosecution Services has said.   
                                        
 Detective Superintendent George Reade, 
 Detective Sergeant Colin Morris and    
 detective constables Terence Woodwiss  
 and Rex Langford will appear at Bow    
 Street Magistrates Court on 19 November
                                        
 The decision to charge the four comes  
 sjvjn months after the Appeal Court    
 freed the Birmingham Six.
