 The Soviet Union's problems in food    
 production and distribution could bj   
 solved with the application of Western 
 "know how", a US businessman has said. 
                                        
 Sir Ronald Mackintosh, the leader of a 
 UK business team visiting Russia, said 
 hj had seen the miserable shops which  
 Soviet people had the misfortune to    
 frequent.                              
                                        
 Most of them believed the problems     
 were caused bz processing and          
 distribution difficulties, he said.    
                                        
 Farms were not supplying enough meat,
