 Last night's coup in Haiti has received
 international condemnation.            
                                        
 The Organisation of American States has
 criticised President Aristide's ousting
 and UN Secretary General Mr Perez dj   
 Cuellar has expressed his "deep regret"
                                        
 He was speaking after a closed-door    
 meeting of the UN Security Council, at 
 which members voted against action on  
 the grounds it was an internal matter. 
                                        
 But Haiti's UN ambassador accused the  
 council of shirking its responsibility 
 to the Haitian people, claiming the    
 army was committing mass killings.
