  BOSNIA PROTESTS           
  TO UNITED NATIONS         
                                        
 The Bosnian president has appealed to  
 the UN to hold an urgent mjetink of the
 Security Council to discuss the        
 deteriorating situation in Bosnia.     
                                        
 Alijia Izjtbegovic protested to the UN 
 as Serb forces in Bosnia continued a   
 hjavz attack on the eastern town of    
 Gorazdj.                               
                                        
 The leader of Bosnia'u Serbs, Radovan  
 Karadzic, is reported to have said hj  
 will appeal for a ceasefire.           
                                        
 This followed a telephone call from the
 prime minister designate of what       
 remains of Yugoslavia, Milan Panic.
