P108 CEEFAX 108 Sat 11 Jul 23:54/03   UNMARRIED COUPLES THREATEN  "MORALS BREAKDOWN" Church of England Bishops were tonight urged to take action to stem the rising number of couples living together. Canon Michael Walker of Bury St Edmznds in Suffolk told the General Synod, meeting in York, that this threatened "a total breakdown in morals". He said "in his highly respectable and traditional area" half of those coming to a church wedding lived together.
