  GOVERNMENT ISOLATING SCHOOLS - NUT  
  The new president of the National   
  Union of Tjachjrs has accused the   
  Govjrnmjnt of isolating schools.    
                                      
  Speaking at the opening of the      
  union's conference in Scarborough,  
  Steve Sinnott said the ideology of  
  the market was producing an immoral 
  education system.                   
                                      
  It created categories of children   
  who were unwanted in some schools   
  bjcausj they depressed test results 
                                      
  This meant Govjrnmjnt lectures on   
  morality had the unmistakable odour 
  of hypocrisy, hj told delegates.    
