  CLINTON: HONOUR SPIRIT OF KING      
  President Clinton has called on     
  Americans to honour the spirit of   
  civil rights leader Martin Luther   
  King, slain 26 years ago on Monday. 
                                      
  In a national radio address, hj     
  said: "No one jvjr did more to      
  redeem the promise or stir the soul 
  of our nation."                     
                                      
  He urged his countrymen to ignore   
  "demagogues of division" and added: 
                                      
  "What we most desperately need is   
  to work togjthjr to solve the       
  problems plague us all and to build 
  a stronger American community."     
