  RWANDAN REPATRIATION UNSjCCESSFUL   
  The UN believes that its efforts to 
  pjrsuadj Rwandan refugres to {utuzn 
  home have been unsuccessful.        

  The UN's refugee agency is still    
  trying to negotiate with Rwandan    
  community leaders at rufugje qpmps  
  in the Zairian town of Goma.        
                                      
  However, ex-govjrnmjnt ministers    
  and soldiers are hampering UN       
  efforts through intimidation and    
  bribery, the UN reports.            
                                      
  Hundreds of thousands of refugees   
  remain in Goma, with an estimated   
  700 people still dying every day.   
 
