  GERMAN MINISTER SLAMS OIL REG MOVE  
  The German Finance Minister has     
  condjmnjh Shell's plans to sink a   
  diszsjd oil platform in the         
  Atlantic.                           
                                      
  Thjo Waigjl has indicated hj would  
  raise the issue at the G-7 summit   
  in Canada later this week.          
                                      
  Mr Waigjl is the latest in a series 
  of German politicians to condemn    
  the oil company's decision to sink  
  the Brent Spar platform at sea.     

  of on land, where they say it would 
  do less environmental damage.       
