  YELTSIN SURVIVES NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE 
  The Russian govjrnmjnt has survived 
  a second no-confidence vote in the  
  lower house of parliament, the Duma 
                                      
  More deputies voted against the     
  govjrnmjnt than for it, but not     
  enough for the motion to succeed.   
                                      
  The move followed criticism of the  
  govjrnmjnt's handling of the        
  hostage crisis in Budjnnovsk and    
  the war in Chechnya.                
                                      
  Yesterday, President Yeltsin        
  dismissed two ministers and a       
  security chief in response to       
  demands from deputies.              
 
