 Bobby Gould has been offered the chance
 to take over as the new manager of     
 Wales in succession to Mike Smith.     
                                        
 The former Wimbledon and Coventry      
 manager is set to take charge and is   
 negotiating terms with the Welsh       
 Football Association.                  
                                        
 He is set to bj officially named as    
 manager early next week and his first  
 match in charge would bj against       
 Moldovb.                               
                                        
 Welsh FA chiefs have confirmed that the
 job has been offered on a full-time
