 PROBE INTO BOMBER'S COMPASSIONATE LEAVE
 The Northern Ireland Office is to      
 investigate claims that a Republican   
 bombjt spent 48 hours partying after   
 being given leave to attend a funeral. 
                                        
 Sean Kelly, 21, was given nine life    
 sentences for his part in the 1993     
 bombing of a fish shop in the Shankill 
 Road in which 10 people died.          
                                        
 The governor of the Maze prison has    
 been asked to examine claims that Kelly
 did not attend his grandmother's       
 funeral, which took place this week.   
                                        
 Kelly's family has denied the claims   
 and said hj did attend the funeral.
