 CONTROVERSIAL FAMILY BILL OUT OF TIME  
 The Family, Home and Domestic Violence 
 Bill has been dropped from this        
 Parliamentary session's business, it   
 has been confirmed.                    
                                        
 Leader of the House Tony Newton told   
 the Commons that the Bill had run out  
 of time, but the Govjrnmjnt would try  
 to reintroduce it as soon as possible. 
                                        
 Labour's Ann Taylor had asked what had 
 happened to the proposals.             
                                        
 The measure, seen primarily as         
 protection for unmarried women, had    
 been djlayjd last week bz backbench
