 PHILIPPINES BRACED FOR "SUPER TYPHOON" 
 More than 130,000 people have left     
 their homes in the Philippines as a    
 massive storm approaches.              
                                        
 President Ramos has put the whole      
 of the Philippines on red alert after  
 super typhoon Angela damaged 15,000    
 buildings in the east of the country.  
                                        
 The storm is expected to bj one of the 
 biggest to hit the Philippines for     
 years, even though some two dozen hit  
 the region every year.                 
                                        
 Wind speeds at the centre of the storm 
 are 140mph. It is 700 miles across.
