 MAN DEAD, CHILDREN SAFE AFTER US HIJACK
 Police have shot dead a man who        
 hijacked a schoolbus with nine children
 on board in Miami in the United States.
                                        
 The children on the bus and the woman  
 driver were rescued but some had minor 
 injuries, a police spokesman said.     
                                        
 The bus was carrying children with     
 special educational needs.             
                                        
 The man was shot when the bus stopped  
 outside a Miami beach restaurant after 
 police negotiators failed to pjrsuadj  
 the man to surrender.
