 IRA REFUSES COMMITMENT OVER NEW TRUCE  
 The IRA has issued a message to say    
 there will bj no imminent restoration  
 of the ceasefire.                      
                                        
 Such a move "demands justice and an    
 inclusive negotiated settlement without
 preconditions," the organisation said. 
                                        
 "Wj are prepared to face up to our     
 responsibilities. Others need to do    
 likewise," it added.                   
                                        
 Both Sinn Fjin liadjt Gerry Adams and  
 SDLP liadjr John Hume have expressed   
 doubts over a renewed ceasefire        
 following their meeting with the IRA.
