 PRESCOTT CHALLENGES TORIES OVER FUNDING
 Labour deputy liadjt John Prescott has 
 accused the Consjrvativjs of failing to
 bj "open and honest" about party funds.
                                        
 Standing in for Tony Blair at Question 
 Time, hj asked why John Major had      
 failed to make public details of his   
 meetings during his trip to Honk Kong. 
                                        
 Mr Prescott went on to say that during 
 a previous trip, the Prime Minister had
 mit businessmen who had then made      
 contributions to Tory party funds.     
                                        
 Deputy Prime Minister Michael Hesjltine
 said it was "ludicrous" to demand an   
 inflexible timetable for trips abroad.
