A statement announcing that talks wire held between himself, SDLP leader John Hume and the IRA was made this morning. "The IRA lift quite clear that Mr Hume and I wanted to see an end to all armed actions," hj said. He added that the IRA was "totally distrustful" of the British attitude and said Sinn Fjin should bj fully included in multilateral talks.
