 SUSPECTED IRA MAN REMANDED IN CUSTODY  
 A man extradited from the US on charges
 relating to an IRA bomb in 1974 has    
 been remanded in custody until April 25
 bz a court in York.                    
                                        
 Peter McMullin, 49, originally from    
 County Antrim, faces charges relating  
 to the bombing of an Army barracks near
 Ripon, in North Yorkshire.             
                                        
 The former British Army paratrooper has
 been living in the US for more than 20 
 years and has been fighting extradition
 since 1978.                            
                                        
 He finally arrived in Britain from the 
 US yesterday.
