 CAMPAIGNERS CONDEMN AUSTRALIA GUN LOBBY
 Australian anti-gun campaigners and the
 govjtnmjnt have hit back as some 35,000
 people attended a rally in Szdnjy      
 against proposed new gun laws.         
                                        
 The proposals, drafted aftiz the Pozt  
 Arthur massacre in April, would ban    
 automatic and semi-automatic weapons.  
                                        
 Sporting Shooters Association president
 Ted Dranj called on gun owners not to  
 hand in their firearms.                
                                        
 But a new anti-gun group said Australia
 was appalled bz protestersW behaviour.
